Makai Senki Disgaea first impressions
I just finished watching the first episode of Disgaea (Makai Senki Disgaea) and I'm now thinking if I'll continue watching this anime. Why?
The characters
First, the angel Flonne was introduced. She is clumsy and is very ideal. She thinks that everything can be solved by love. Now the devil, Laharl is the opposite (of course it's an angel and a devil), he uses violence to solve his ways and does not believe in love. He is the more practical guy, evil yes but practical. Then we have the humans. There's a girl, a boy and a robot. They remind me of team rocket of pokemon and even the way they got blown out by Laharl is so team-rocket like.
The anime itself
Now it's not the characters that is making me think twice about watching this show but it's the anime itself. Disgaea is a show that's really about fantasy. We have angels and demons and supernatural powers. They get crushed by rocks and manage to survive with only dirt in their faces and clothes. There's no blood even if they use swords and I think you will not see some footage of someone dieng or something like that. This is a show meant to entertain kids and since I'm not a kid, should I go on watching this?
Well, since I'm planning to play this on the PSP, I think I'll watch it but I won't be blogging about it very much though...

But if you don't know how to download files via irc, just tell me and I'll teach you how. You can also check anidb to know what other groups have made subs for this so you can get their versions.

Hello and welcome
This blog's purpose is to share with you my thoughts and reactions after watching an anime. Once in a while, I'm going to post a review, an episode recap or simply just rants on anime. Of course, I'm going to include manga too since they are just near each other. So soon enough, I'm going to be writing lots about anime. Oh yeah!
My plan to watch anime for now is Disgaea. I also want to play it in PSP so Disgaea will also be included in my game blog.
